Home sweet home…

Last week I went up to my beautiful hometown Sundsvall to visit my sister and my niece. I can’t even remember when I was there in the summer last time (well, I guess September is not really summer but there was no snow). As always when I come home time goes by so fast and before you know it it is time to go. I didn’t manage to meet up with all the people I wanted but I did get to spend some much needed and wanted time with my sister. The first evening we went for a walk around the lake I grew up by and I have run around maaaaany times. It was a beautiful autumn evening and a great evening of catching up.

My dad and Ibi came up for the weekend so all the family was gathered (except for my brother but we solved it with a well placed mirror). We normally only manage to get us all in one place at the same time at Christmas so I was very happy to have this “normal” weekend with all of them. Saturday turned out to be another beautiful autumn day so we went out to coast just south of Sundsvall. It was a really perfect day that we finished at home with a nice dinner (depending on who you ask I guess… Melker (my uncle) and my dad were missing a few things…) celebrating my dads birthday from a few weeks ago.

My sister had also asked me to TRY to take some different photos of her that she might be able to use for her website she is setting up. I won’t go into what my sister does but I will make sure to post the link to her site once it’s up so you can have a look if you want. Anyway, here are some of the photos we took, we will see if any of them makes it onto her site.

The time in Sundsvall was exactly what I needed. All the family around, my beautiful home town, beautiful autumn weather… hmmmm I think I should plan another trip soon, five days pass so fast and there were more things I wanted to do and more people I wanted to see. Ah well, I hope I will be back soon…
